Ferris, a Briggs and Stratton Corporation brand, has recently released a new riding lawn mower, the Ferris ISX 800. This Ferris mower is the latest member of the company’s lineup, and along with the updated model comes with some exciting new features.

ForeFront Suspension System™

The all-new ForeFront Suspension System™ design is the next generation of Ferris lawn mower suspension technology. The four control rods on the front wheels ensure the wheels stay in a vertical position through the full range of travel. This new feature enhances the ride, improves the cut, and provides more precise tracing of the terrain. The suspension is backed by a five-year warranty, including the coil-over shocks.

Multiple Engine Options

The Ferris ISX 800 riding lawn mower comes with several engine options. The 52-inch model features either a Briggs and Stratton Commercial series 27 hp or a Kawasaki FS 730V 24 hp engine. The 61-inch model has the same engine options as the 52-inch but with the addition of a 26 hp Kawasaki FS370V EFI engine. The drive system features the Hydro-Gear ZT 3400 transaxles which allow this Ferris mower to travel at speeds up to 10 miles per hour.

Two Deck Sizes

The ISX 800 comes with 2 deck sizes, 61-inch or 52-inch, depending on the size of your property. The iCD cutting system with the sloped nose deck gives a premium cut for your yard. Also, the Ferris ISX 800 riding lawn mower features a two-belt cutting system. This reduces the risk of the belt coming off or rolling on the pulleys. The two-belt system is backed by a three-year limited warranty.

Additional Features

The Ferris ISX 800 riding lawn mower comes with a premium mid-back comfort seat mounted on a spring-loaded platform. It also features large front caster wheels to enhance the comfort of the ride and reduce compaction.
